This physical therapy position requires the responsibility of providing evaluations and treatment to the patient population that is exhibiting dysfunction of the lumbopelvic complex and the pelvic floor muscles. The Physical Therapist will diagnose and manage disorders of the pelvic floor and core muscle systems and help patients regain or maintain function. This position requires close communication with specialty physicians as well as other medical personnel, as appropriate. The Physical Therapist will be required to establish a plan of care and ensure their patients are progressing. Treatment can also include the utilization of different equipment and therapy techniques which can include but not be limited to therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, dry needling, and/or ice. Physical Therapists are also responsible for the supervision of treatments or parts of treatments delegated to support personnel. SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION: This position is a designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services.
