Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy required.
• Currently licensed in Massachusetts as a Physical Therapist.
• Advanced degree in a clinical specialty.
• Certification by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) in one of its designated specialties is preferred but not required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.

• Experience in a clinical specialty.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a department resource in the area of clinical specialization.
• Provides consultation to physicians and other physical therapists.
• Conducts staff training sessions.
• Develops protocols in area of specialization.
• Functions as staff physical therapist.
• Evaluates, develops and implements treatment plans for patients.
