We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient physical therapy team. In this role, you will support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality patient care by implementing treatment plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and fostering a safe and supportive clinical environment.   • Assist the Physical Therapist in carrying out established plans of care.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with physicians, staff, patients, and families.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and provide guidance to support optimal outcomes.
  • Document patient care and related information in accordance with state practice act and organizational standards.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, infection control, and state regulations.
  • Serve as an active member of the treatment team for assigned patients.
  • Support training of Physical Therapy Technicians as needed.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program (required).
  • Current state certification/licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (required).
  • Minimum of 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience or equivalent required
  • Knowledge of physical therapy principles, equipment, and treatment protocols.
  • Proficiency in OSHA standards, infection control, and company policies.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to recognize patient safety risks and address compliance issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, providers, and colleagues.
  • Ability to support patients of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
  • Competence with clinical documentation and electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Physical ability to assist patients, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform kneeling, squatting, and overhead lifting as needed
  • Active Arizona PTA license (or eligibility to obtain before start date).
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Passing NPTE scores.
