About The Position

The PTA works under the direction of the Physical Therapist to carry out treatment sessions, help patients perform therapeutic activities, and keep accurate records of each visit. Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active Florida PTA license
- Current CPR certification
- Solid communication and observation skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior outpatient or rehab experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient treatments based on the Physical Therapist’s plan of care
- Lead patients through exercises and movement-based interventions
- Monitor safety, technique, and patient tolerance during sessions
- Document patient visits and treatment responses clearly and accurately
- Reinforce therapist-approved home exercise plans
- Maintain equipment and treatment areas for daily use
