Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
  • Possess a valid Ohio Physical Therapy Assistant license.
  • Must enjoy working with the elderly and possess a positive ability to work with others.
  • Must be in good health, no lifting restrictions, neat and clean.
  • Must be willing and able to learn and possess above average management, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality care to residents.
  • Provide direction and assistance to the Nursing Staff regarding Therapy policies and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate documentation on medical records.
  • Promote good relations between staff, residents and visitors.
  • Must project a positive attitude and promote the facility and its staff/residents positively.
  • Assist as directed by Director of Nursing, Administrator, or Director of Rehab Services
