About The Position
An established healthcare system located near Sumter, South Carolina is seeking full-time, permanent Physical Therapist Assistants to join their team! The Physical Therapist Assistant Job Opportunity: Full-time, direct hire opportunity Mon-Fri schedule, day shift Outpatient setting Great therapy leadership and administration team! Works under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and carries out the treatment program established by the therapist. They perform a wide variety of treatment procedures to patients with different disabilities, injuries and diseases. Physical Therapy serves both inpatient and outpatient populations. A team of Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants and Rehab Aides collaborate to offer general, pediatric and aquatic therapy treatment. The Physical Therapist Assistant Minimum Qualifications: Must have completed a formal accredited physical therapy assistant associate’s degree program A current SC PTA certification is required BLS certification required Previous experience is desired but not required, new grads welcome to apply! The South Carolina Location: Small but not too small of a city. Florence is located near a lot of rural areas and is the center of city life for every one nearby. About an hour from beach life of Myrtle Beach
Requirements
- Must have completed a formal accredited physical therapy assistant associate’s degree program
- A current SC PTA certification is required
- BLS certification required
