Physical Therapist Assistant
About The Position
We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant for a private outpatient practice. You’ll work directly with patients on prescribed therapy activities, help them stay on track with their goals, and support the supervising Physical Therapist with day-to-day treatment delivery. Spanish speaking is a must for this role. Location: Lauderhill, FL Schedule: M-F, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Patient Volume: 1 patient per hour Salary: $65K-$75K/year DOE plus full benefits Bring your clinical skills to a role where patient connection and clear communication matter.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
- Active Florida PTA license
- Spanish speaking required
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with exercises and rehabilitation routines
- Follow treatment plans created by the Physical Therapist
- Observe patient performance and communicate updates
- Complete session notes and required documentation
- Provide support to Spanish-speaking patients and families
