PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (PTA) - Oregon School Based Company: Princeton Staffing Solutions Contract Type: W2 – Local or Travel Position Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Facility Type: Public School District Setting: School – Special Education – Student Physical Therapy Services Location: Pendleton, OR Work Arrangement: In person Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week. Dates: Mid August 2026 for 2026-2027 School Year Age Range of Students: K-12 Experience as a School-Based PTA: Required. Will need to be adaptable to covering multiple schools within a specific region. Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Qualifications and Responsibilities Provide physical therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT). Assist in implementing prescribed physical therapy interventions to improve students' motor skills, strength, mobility, and physical function. Support student participation in school-related activities through therapeutic techniques. Document student progress and responses to therapy interventions accurately. Collaborate with educators, parents, and therapists to ensure consistent support across environments. Modify activities and instructional materials based on student needs and therapeutic goals. Assist with equipment setup and maintenance for therapy sessions. Monitor and report student behavior, performance, and physical health concerns to the supervising PT. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • State License or Certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (as )
  • Experience as a School-Based PTA: Required.
  • Will need to be adaptable to covering multiple schools within a specific region.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred
