Requirements

Education: Associates degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Licensure: Valid Alaska state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Problem-Solving: Exhibit excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

Assist in evaluating and assessing patients' conditions, working closely with our licensed Physical Therapists.
Treatment Implementation: Implement treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist, providing hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercises, and manual techniques.
Progress Monitoring: Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Patient Education: Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities.
Accurate Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with advancements in physical therapy techniques and technologies.
