HealthPro Heritage is offering a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant opportunity in East Baton Rouge, LA, within a highly-rated 136-bed Skilled Nursing facility. The role requires 20-30 hours per week with flexible scheduling and offers competitive compensation of $34-$37 per hour. There is also an option for PRN work. Requirements

Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible
Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Work closely with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care and effective treatment outcomes.
