About The Position

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide direct patient care in a structured clinical setting. This role focuses on carrying out treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist, helping patients improve strength, mobility, coordination, and overall physical function. The PTA is an important part of the recovery process, supporting patients through each phase of treatment while helping ensure care remains consistent, efficient, and goal focused.

Requirements

Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current New Jersey PTA license, or eligibility to obtain one
CPR certification required
Strong communication and clinical support skills
Ability to work efficiently in a full-time patient care role

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in an outpatient or rehabilitation setting preferred

Responsibilities

Administer physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Instruct patients through prescribed exercise programs and functional activities
Monitor patient performance during sessions and report observations to the Physical Therapist
Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
Reinforce home exercise instructions and therapy recommendations
