About The Position

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at Capitol Home Health is responsible for delivering high-quality rehabilitative services. This role operates under the direct supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist. The PTA will work with patients experiencing musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary deficiencies. A key aspect of the role is to promote excellent customer service while ensuring adherence to all state and federal standards. The position covers Killeen and surrounding areas.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program with either an Associate's degree in science or applied science that is approved by American Physical Therapy Association, Inc.
• Current and unencumbered certification or license to practice physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of employment.
• Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organization skills.
• Possess and maintain valid CPR certification. Must have obtained in-person with a practical skills evaluation as part of the final test.
• Access to reliable transportation.
