We're currently seeking a Staff Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our collaborative care team—someone who’s passionate about helping others and committed to clinical excellence. Position Summary As a Physical Therapy Assistant at Adena, you'll play a key role in delivering direct care to a diverse patient population. Working closely under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you’ll help implement individualized treatment plans that address orthopedic, neurologic, developmental, and cognitive challenges. Requirements

  • Required Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Required Licensure & Certifications:
  • Current Ohio PTA License or eligibility to obtain
  • CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification
  • Valid Ohio Driver’s License and proof of insurance

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of experience in direct patient care (consideration given to new grads with strong clinical skills)
  • Background in orthopedic, neurologic, developmental, or cognitive rehabilitation is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care based on the Physical Therapist’s plan of care
  • Assist patients in achieving mobility, strength, and functional goals through therapeutic interventions
  • Monitor and report patient progress, challenges, and response to treatment
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation and support regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes
  • Uphold professionalism, safety, and ethical standards in every interaction
