About The Position

Physical Therapist Assistant – Outpatient Orthopedics Location: Lake Wales, FL Schedule: Monday–Friday Compensation: $28–$32 per hour, based on experience Incentives: $12,000 Sign-On Bonus + $200/month Student Loan Repayment Select Physical Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient orthopedic team in Lake Wales. This clinic treats a diverse patient population with specialties including vestibular rehabilitation, sports medicine, and fall prevention. You will work collaboratively with a team consisting of 1.25 Physical Therapists and 1 PTA in a supportive, growth-oriented environment. We welcome both newly licensed and experienced candidates. Requirements

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
