About The Position

Join our team at BayLife Physical Therapy/Quality Performance Rehab!!!! BayLife Physical Therapy/Quality Performance Rehab (QPR) has 10 clinics across the central/SE Florida area and we are continuing to grow. The QPR team provides the best individualized patient care in St. Lucie county and surrounding areas. We are currently looking for a Part-Time licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide clinical coverage for our Stuart and Goldtree locations. Individual MUST have a current, valid PTA license in the State of FL. We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development. Requirements

Graduate of an associate degree/two-year Physical Therapist Assistant Program approved by Commission for the Accreditation of Physical Therapist Assistant Education
Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Florida
A person who demonstrates the physical and mental capabilities (practical &/or written, post training competency test) to perform the duties required of the position
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Anatomy knowledge
Trigger point therapy expertise
Experience working with pediatric patients
Strong patient care abilities
Physiology knowledge
Medical terminology

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on physical therapy to patients using a variety of techniques.
Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques and home care strategies
Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, with guidance from supervising Physical Therapist
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of physical therapy and incorporate new techniques into practice
Participate in marketing programs that educate patients on specific problems.
Participate in key metric setting and follow up with goals set with colleagues.
