About The Position

Administers prescribed physical therapy programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to restore function and in conjunction with the plan of care, including but not limited to; gait training, balance training, therapeutic exercises, modalities and patient education. Documents in medical record. Treats patients of varying ages.

Requirements

High School education
Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
Rhode Island Physical Therapy Assistant license is required

Must meet annual safety training requirements per hospital policy
