Requirements

  • Current or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice

Responsibilities

  • Attend all required meetings including care planning, staff meetings, family meetings, etc.
  • Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state and federal certification while following OBRA Resident Right Guidelines
  • Follow facility infection control policies and procedures
  • Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and assigned by the manager/supervisor
  • Responsible for the treatment of residents with noted disorders or deficits within scope of practice upon receiving physician order and completion of evaluation
  • Optimize the functionality and skills of patients
  • Completes all necessary documentation
  • Collaborate with supervising PT developing programs appropriate to the needs of facility residents while fulfilling PTA/PT co-signature and supervision requirements
