About The Position
StretchLab San Antonio is the industry leader of one-on-one assisted stretching. StretchLab’s proprietary Flexologist™ Training Program (FTP) ensures that their client’s receive a world class stretching session. The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide one-on-one assisted stretches as well as lead guided group stretching classes for our clients. Stretching is ancient, but StretchLab has redefined what it means to get a stretch. Having someone with years of experience read your body, assess your needs and make sure that you have been thoroughly, expertly stretched is an experience like no other. To push you further than you can push yourself and open you up in ways that you just can't do on your own. Stretching is really good for you. Being stretched is the key to a longer and healthier life. This franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee. Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this franchisee. Requirements
- Minimum of 1 years experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provide hands-on training with clients.
- Licensed Massage Therapist
- Certified Athletic Trainer, Personal Trainer or Sports Coach
- Licensed Physical Therapist (or PT assistant)
- Love of boutique fitness environment – passion for stretching, flexibility and mobility.
- Ability to connect with people and have passion for helping them achieve goals.
- Posses a professional work ethic, be reliable and adhere to our attendance policies.
- Available to go through our Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials, 2 days of in-person/hands-on training and 20 hours of practice.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions as well as group stretch classes for up to 6 clients.
- Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele.
- Ensure safety of clients in regards to proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab polices and safety rules.
- Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations.
- Handle member concerns when applicable.
- Assist sales associates and General Manager with studio tour, offsite events, and sales as needed.
- Clean and maintain all equipment in order to ensure it is available for client use at any given time.
