About The Position
We are looking for a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join a private outpatient clinic. In this role, you’ll help patients work through recovery plans, improve mobility, and build strength in a structured clinical setting. This position calls for someone who is comfortable working directly with patients and can communicate in Spanish when needed. Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Patient Volume: 1 patient an hour Salary: $65,000-$75,000/year DOE plus full benefits
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
- Active Florida PTA license
- Spanish speaking required
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with treatment sessions under PT direction
- Lead patients through exercise programs and functional activities
- Observe responses to treatment and report changes
- Keep patient notes current and organized
- Support Spanish-speaking patients during visits
