We are looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our private outpatient clinic that uses in-house diagnostics to find root cause of conditions serving Lafayette, CA and the eastern Bay Area of California. $3,000 Sign on Bonus! Our in house diagnostic services for Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (MSKUS), Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS)/Electromyography (EMG) help us get to the root cause of pain and dysfunction quickly so we can provide more effective care and give our patients greater understanding and peace of mind. Requirements

Valid California Physical Therapist Assistant license. (Or Pending)
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Orthopedic and Geriatric experience.
Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality.
Outstanding interpersonal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

2-3 years of clinical experience in physical therapy.
Experience in out-patient physical therapy setting.
Experience with Neurological cases.
Experience with electronic health records and digital documentation.

Responsibilities

Assist in the implementation of individualized therapy programs as directed by the Physical Therapist.
Observe patients before, during, and after therapy, noting patients' status and reporting to a Physical Therapist.
Help patients do specific exercises as part of the plan of care.
Use technology and equipment to assist with therapy.
Communicate with patients and their families regarding therapy goals and progress.

3 weeks/Year Paid Time Off (PTO) accrual years 1-3 (With status of Part Time 30+ hours per week and Full Time 35+ hours per week)
