About The Position

This is a regular, full-time Physical Therapist Assistant position with SSM Health at Home in Oklahoma City. The role involves providing physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist, supporting patient mobility and recovery, and documenting care. The ideal candidate is a licensed PTA, self-starter, and comfortable working independently. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., with no weekends or on-call duties. The position requires traveling to patients' residences to provide medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program
• No experience required
• Proof of motor vehicle liability insurance that meets minimum state requirements upon hire and upon request.
• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Driving Record - Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
• Driver’s License – State of Issuance
• Physical Therapist Assistant - Oklahoma Medical Board

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.
• Performs therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population.
• Documents treatment interventions given.
• May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
