About The Position

An outpatient clinic in Hillsborough is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for a full-time weekday schedule. This position is centered on delivering one-on-one patient care, carrying out treatment sessions, and supporting recovery plans designed to improve daily function. The PTA works closely with the Physical Therapist to help patients make measurable progress while ensuring each session is productive, organized, and aligned with care goals.

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current New Jersey PTA license, or eligibility to obtain one
• CPR certification required
• Prior experience in an outpatient or rehabilitation setting preferred
• Strong communication and clinical support skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a full-time patient care role

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in an outpatient or rehabilitation setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy treatment as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Guide patients through stretching, strengthening, balance, and mobility exercises
• Observe changes in patient status and communicate them promptly
• Complete required documentation for each patient visit
• Assist with patient education related to exercises and treatment expectations
