As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for providing patient centered treatment under the supervision of a licensed PT; and coordinating patient care with the Physical Therapist and Clinical Director. You will also instruct the patients, caregivers, and family members on skills/exercise techniques of the physical therapy treatment. A full job description can be provided upon request. Job Type: Full-time – Non-Exempt - $$ Pay: $24.50 - $30.28/hr based on experience Schedule: Mon-Fri 8a-5pm; depending on the shift 8hr or 10hr

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Team Oriented
  • Graduate of an associate degree/two-year Physical Therapist Assistant Program approved by Commission for the Accreditation of Physical Therapist Assistant Education
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Colorado
  • A person who demonstrates the physical and mental capabilities (practical &/or written, post training competency test) to perform the duties required of the position
  • A person who can meet the physical demand level of the position
  • Requires the manual dexterity and general strength and endurance
  • Lifting—routinely loads of 5-35 pounds from Floor to waist
  • Waist to shoulder
  • Shoulder to overhead
  • Carrying—routinely loads of 5-10# for 40-50’
  • Pushing---routinely loads of 5-150# on casters, runners or pulleys
  • Sustaining a grip---routinely for 1-2 minutes of 40-50#
  • Guarding a “lift load” routinely of 120-140#

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of clinical experience preferred but not required
  • New grads are welcome
