About The Position
A full-time opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist Assistant in Hillsborough, NJ. Working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA provides direct treatment, tracks patient response, and helps maintain the flow and quality of care throughout the clinic day. Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current New Jersey PTA license, or eligibility to obtain one
- CPR certification required
- Strong communication and clinical support skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a full-time patient care role
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in an outpatient or rehabilitation setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment interventions as directed by the Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and movement-based activities
- Monitor tolerance, effort, and performance during therapy sessions
- Report significant observations to the supervising therapist
- Enter complete and accurate treatment notes in a timely manner
