About The Position

An established outpatient rehabilitation clinic in Stanwood, WA is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a collaborative, patient-focused team. This hybrid role includes outpatient orthopedic care, aquatic therapy, and the opportunity to build into telehealth services. The position offers consistent mentorship, flexible scheduling, and long-term career growth. The clinic follows an evidence-based musculoskeletal (MSK) care model that incorporates digital rehabilitation and early intervention strategies proven to improve outcomes and reduce the need for joint replacement surgeries. Full-time PTAs (30+ hours/week) are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, CEU support, and student loan reimbursement. PRN opportunities are also available.

Requirements

  • Active or eligible Washington State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and patient engagement skills
  • Comfortable using EMR systems and telehealth platforms

Nice To Haves

  • Aquatic therapy experience preferred; training available

Responsibilities

  • Provide 45-minute outpatient therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Assist with treatment plans for orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and aquatic therapy patients
  • Deliver telehealth physical therapy sessions using digital rehabilitation platforms
  • Document patient treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately in the EMR
  • Educate patients on mobility, recovery strategies, and injury prevention
  • Collaborate closely with Physical Therapists and clinical team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
