About The Position
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Ashland, MO . This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients through skilled therapy services, teamwork, and dedication to quality care. Position Summary The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patients’ mobility, strength, balance, and overall function.
Requirements
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in Missouri (required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to providing patient-centered, high-quality care
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care as outlined in the established plan of care
- Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment techniques and exercises
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with the therapy team, nursing staff, and families to support patient goals
- Participate in ongoing training and contribute to a positive team environment
