About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at the Department of State Hospitals – Coalinga in Coalinga, CA. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help implement treatment plans and provide therapeutic interventions that support patient mobility, function, and overall rehabilitation goals.
Requirements
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of California
- Current BLS Certification
Responsibilities
- Assist the Physical Therapist in carrying out individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and mobility support
- Observe and report patient responses and progress to the supervising Physical Therapist
