About The Position

Join LivinRite Home Health as a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Northern Virginia, specializing in home health. Requirements

  • Current and unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Virginia
  • Current BLS CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance
  • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly, with confidence and compassion
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer proficiency (EMR documentation, Word, email, etc.)
  • Experience with adult and geriatric populations

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in home health, acute care, or rehabilitation (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver skilled therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement patient care plans
  • Monitor and document patient progress and adjust interventions accordingly
  • Maintain open communication with administrators, clinicians, families, and physicians
  • Ensure all care complies with state, federal, and agency regulations (training provided)
  • Represent LivinRite professionally in the community and with referral partners
  • Embrace innovation and continuous improvement to enhance care delivery
  • Adapt, problem-solve, and support the team as needed
