About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team on an as-needed basis in the Wooster/Canton area. The PTA will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitation services to patients and assist in their treatment plans.

Requirements

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a healthcare team setting
• Ability to follow treatment plans and assist in implementing therapeutic exercises and modalities
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Responsibilities

• Work with patients to implement treatment plans as directed by a Physical Therapist
• Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to assist patients in their rehabilitation
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
• Assist in creating a positive and supportive environment for patients undergoing rehabilitation
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical and professional standards in patient care
