About The Position
This position is ideal for a Physical Therapist Assistant who wants to stay closely involved in patient care and recovery. You will assist with treatment sessions, help patients perform therapeutic activities safely, and track how they are progressing over time. The role requires a strong clinical foundation, attention to detail, and the ability to help create a positive and productive experience for every patient.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active Florida PTA license
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Ability to work well under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
Nice To Haves
- Previous outpatient experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide treatment under the supervision of the Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with stretching, strengthening, balance, and mobility exercises
- Observe and report patient progress, setbacks, or changes in tolerance
- Complete clinical documentation for each visit
- Review proper technique and follow-through during therapy sessions
- Keep treatment spaces and equipment ready for use
- Support daily clinic flow through teamwork and communication
- Follow established procedures for patient safety and care consistency
