About The Position
Seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for an 8-hour day shift position (8:00am–4:30pm) with 35 guaranteed hours per week on a 92-week contract. The PTA will provide skilled rehabilitative services to patients with physical impairments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include implementing individualized treatment plans, assisting patients in improving mobility and functional independence, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license required
- BLS certification required per facility standards
- Must demonstrate the ability to follow established plans of care
- Provide evidence-based interventions
- Communicate effectively with supervising PTs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in skilled nursing, rehab, or outpatient settings preferred
