About The Position
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support patients as they work through recovery, mobility challenges, and strength-building goals. In this role, you will provide hands-on treatment under the direction of a Physical Therapist, help patients complete exercise programs, and track how they respond from visit to visit. This position is well suited for someone who values organized clinical care and enjoys seeing measurable patient progress over time.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active Florida PTA license
- Current CPR certification
- Solid communication and observation skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior outpatient or rehab experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans designed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, stretches, and movement activities
- Monitor patient performance and note any changes in function, pain, or tolerance
- Record treatment details and patient progress in a timely manner
- Review assigned exercises and reinforce proper form during sessions
- Prepare equipment and treatment spaces for daily appointments
