About The Position
This Physical Therapist Assistant position is centered on helping patients make progress through guided treatment and consistent support. You will assist with therapy sessions, carry out care plans developed by the Physical Therapist, and help patients work toward better movement and function. The role requires strong follow-through, clear communication, and a solid understanding of clinical care standards.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active Colorado PTA license or eligibility to obtain one
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Implement therapy programs as directed by the Physical Therapist
- Assist with exercises, stretches, transfers, and functional movement activities
- Track patient participation and note any setbacks or progress
- Enter treatment documentation clearly and accurately
- Educate patients on home exercise expectations and therapy goals
