Physical Therapist Assistant
About The Position
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Physical Therapist Assistant who is passionate about helping patients achieve their goals. In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive, hands-on care in both outpatient and inpatient hospital environments, focusing on recovery, mobility, and overall well-being. Experienced PTA’s and new graduates are welcome to apply! This is a wonderful opportunity to expand knowledge and experience in a clinical setting. Weekend Rotation every 4th or 5th weekend These weekend rotation shifts are shorter in nature, as it is an Inpatient "check-in" and not a full shift. The Outpatient team sees mostly orthopedics, back pain, cervical pain, geriatrics, and the occasional pediatric patients. The Acute Inpatient team provides immediate care to those suffering severe injury and illness. 32-hour schedule: 4 days a week!
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant specific to the State of Kentucky
- Associate's degree or higher as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Current CPR certification or ability to attain this certification
Responsibilities
- Maintaining achievable established productivity standards
- Completing appropriate documentation according to Company/department policies and procedures along with adhering to federal and state regulations
- Providing medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint and bone diseases
- Restoring patient function while relieving pain, with ambitions of avoiding disability
- Integrating Rehab Techs (support staff) in patient care plan
