About The Position

To assist in the provision of physical therapy to patients in their home, under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, according to established Agency policies and procedures. Promotes high quality standards of care and positive outcomes Reports to Therapy Supervisor

Requirements

  • Graduate of Physical Therapy Assistant Associate Degree program accredited by an agency recognized by the Secretary of the United States Department of Education or the Council on Postsecondary Accreditation.
  • One year of acute care experience.
  • A valid driver's license and personal vehicle
  • Certification by the State of Connecticut.
  • Physical, mental and sensory abilities sufficient to meet performance standards with or without assistive devices

  • Additional experience in home health care
