Physical Therapist Assistant
About The Position
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient rehabilitation clinic in Stanwood, WA. This hybrid role includes in-clinic orthopedic care, aquatic therapy, and building up to one telehealth day per week. Requirements
- Active or eligible Washington State PTA license
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-engagement skills
- Comfortable using EMR and telehealth systems
Nice To Haves
- Aquatic therapy experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide 45-minute outpatient therapy sessions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Support treatment plans for orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and aquatic therapy patients
- Conduct telehealth sessions using digital rehabilitation platforms
- Document patient progress accurately and efficiently in the EMR
- Educate patients on mobility, recovery strategies, and injury prevention
- Collaborate with PTs and clinical team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
