About The Position

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join a private physical therapy office in Normandy Park. The day-to-day work in this role is practical and hands-on: helping patients complete treatment sessions, guiding them through exercises, supporting proper movement, and communicating progress back to the Physical Therapist. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants a steady weekday schedule, manageable patient volume, and a clinic setting where time with each patient is built into the day.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant
• Active Washington PTA license, or eligibility to obtain licensure in Washington
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to follow a Physical Therapist’s plan of care accurately
• Organized, professional, and comfortable working in a private outpatient setting

Responsibilities

• Carry out therapy interventions under the supervision of the Physical Therapist
• Instruct patients in exercise routines and treatment activities
• Assist with stretching, strengthening, gait work, and balance exercises
• Watch for changes in patient tolerance, function, or performance
• Communicate observations and updates to the supervising therapist
• Complete documentation thoroughly and accurately
• Help maintain a professional, clean, and welcoming therapy space
