About The Position

Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient PRN Location: NovaCare in Hunt Valley, MD Schedule: Part-time or PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri) Specialties: ortho, TMJ/TMD, neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports medicine, oncology (ReVital), and a Fall Prevention Program. Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00/ Hour NovaCare in Hunt Valley is seeking OP Ortho experienced Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with outpatient experience who values work-life balance. Previous outpatient experience is required for consideration. We’ll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you. NovaCare Hunt Valley OP Center Hours: Mon/Tues/Thurs 7:30 A.M.- 7 P.M. and Wed/Fri 7:30 A.M.- 1:30 P.M. Requirements

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
• Previous outpatient experience is required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
