A Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, or Home Health PTA, travels to a patient's home to administer services and help the individual maintain their independence while they safely heal at home. What does a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant do? A Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for providing treatment to an individual in the comfort and safety of their home, following the evaluation of a supervising Physical Therapist. Do you need home health care experience to be a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant? Previous home health experience is not required. Ask us about our mentorship program, where you will gain experiential training under the supervision of an enthusiastic role model. Do Home Health Physical Therapist Assistants work alone? Home Health Physical Therapist Assistants are autonomous, but they are not alone. All field staff work with supportive clinical supervisors, and the Physical Therapist Assistant is a vital part of the collaborative clinical team. Requirements

  • Florida Physical Therapist Assistant License (Required)
