Position Overview We’re seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic and supportive team. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to deliver personalized, hands-on care. You’ll work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to support patients through their rehabilitation journey—helping them regain strength, mobility, and independence in the comfort of their homes. Service Areas We proudly serve patients throughout Northern Virginia

Requirements

  • Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Active Virginia PTA license & CPR certification
  • 1–2+ years of experience as a PTA (home health experience preferred but not required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently while following a plan of care
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Home Care Home Base (HCHB) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy treatments as outlined in the plan of care developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Assist patients with therapeutic exercises to improve mobility, strength, balance, and coordination
  • Monitor patient responses to treatment and report progress or concerns to the Physical Therapist
  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and techniques for continued care at home
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
