Community Drive in Muncie, IN. Shift: This position Part Time position (30 hours per week) Roles and Responsibilities: New/Upcoming Graduates encouraged to apply! This location is a multi-discipline specialty center that offers PT, OT, and SLP services. Aquatic therapy, pelvic floor rehabilitation, lymphedema, neuro rehabilitation, orthopedics, and vestibular rehabilitation are among the services offered here. There is a large team of therapists in this facility with many opportunities to learn from colleagues. Experience in treating neurological and orthopedic conditions is preferred but not required. Physical therapist assistants provide direct patient care and selected physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a physical therapist. PTA's assist in the clinical education of physical therapy students and clinical supervision of physical therapist assistant students as well as provide guidance and supervision for support personnel. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations. Preferred Skills Experience treating orthopedic and neurological patients preferred but not required. Requirements

  • Requires graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant education program, or if foreign trained, graduation from an assistant physical therapist education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA.
  • Requires certification as an Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Indiana.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in treating neurological and orthopedic conditions is preferred but not required.
  • Experience treating orthopedic and neurological patients preferred but not required.
