Job Summary: A Physical Therapist Assistant who provides coordinated physical therapy to patients of all age groups under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist. PRN Rate: $50-60/visit plus mileage Aviator Home Health is one of the fastest growing companies in the DFW. Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy assistant with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy
• Licensure: Current Texas State License to practice physical therapy

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a PTA a plus but new grads welcome!

Responsibilities

• Performs services planned, delegated and supervised by the PT
• Uses effective interpersonal relations and communication skills to participate in teaching the patient and family
• Completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner
• Applies concepts of infection control and standard precautions in coordinating/performing patient care activities to prevent contamination and transmission of disease
• Accepts clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence to care for patients
• Meets mandatory continuing education requirements; participates in in service programs
• Demonstrates commitment, professional growth, and competency
• Proficient and comfortable using technology to communicate and perform essential job functions.
