About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team in Battle Creek, MI. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients recovering from injury, surgery, or managing chronic conditions.

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Michigan.
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques and modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans designed to improve patient mobility and reduce pain.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, proper use of assistive devices, and injury prevention techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
