About The Position
Join our team at Back In Action (BIA) Physical Therapy!!!! BayLife Physical Therapy/Back In Action Physical Therapy has 10 clinics across the central/SE Florida area and we are continuing to grow. The BIA team provides the best individualized patient care in the Ft. Lauderdale and surrounding areas. We are currently looking for a FULL-TIME licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide clinical coverage for our Deerfield Beach location. Individual MUST have a current, valid PTA license in the State of FL. We are looking for the BEST…. Requirements
- Anatomy knowledge
- Trigger point therapy expertise
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Strong patient care abilities
- Physiology knowledge
- Medical terminology
- Graduate of an associate degree/two-year Physical Therapist Assistant Program approved by Commission for the Accreditation of Physical Therapist Assistant Education
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Florida
- A person who demonstrates the physical and mental capabilities (practical &/or written, post training competency test) to perform the duties required of the position
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on physical therapy to patients using a variety of techniques.
- Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques and home care strategies
- Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, with guidance from supervising Physical Therapist
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of physical therapy and incorporate new techniques into practice
- Participate in marketing programs that educate patients on specific problems.
- Participate in key metric setting and follow up with goals set with colleagues.
