About The Position
This role offers the chance to work directly with patients in an outpatient setting where focused treatment time matters. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will help implement rehabilitation plans, support patients through exercise-based care, and document their progress throughout the course of treatment. Your work will help patients improve mobility, regain function, and stay engaged in their recovery plan.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active Florida PTA license
- Current CPR certification
- Solid communication and observation skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior outpatient or rehab experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Implement therapy programs established by the Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with mobility, balance, strength, and coordination activities
- Track patient progress and identify responses to treatment
- Document care provided during each session
- Reinforce proper exercise technique and treatment instructions
- Ensure equipment is set up and treatment spaces are ready throughout the day
