Medical Group of Alaska, LLC is thrilled to announce the expansion of its Elevation Physical Therapy Department. We are actively seeking skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to join our growing care team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a supportive, patient-centered practice dedicated to helping individuals in the Mat-Su Valley recover from injuries, manage chronic pain, and restore functional movement through personalized, evidence-based therapy. At Elevation Physical Therapy, we believe in elevating the standard of care. Our patients benefit from individualized therapy plans designed by licensed Physical Therapists and carried out with the skilled support of our PTAs. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a key role in helping patients return to their best physical selves, whether they're recovering from surgery, navigating a sports injury, or managing chronic medical conditions.

  • Assist in the evaluation and assessment of each patient's physical condition and therapy needs
  • Implement customized treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Deliver hands-on care, including guided therapeutic exercises, stretches, and manual therapy techniques
  • Educate patients on proper exercise techniques to enhance safety and effectiveness, both in-clinic and at home
  • Track and document patient progress, making recommendations for adjustments in the plan of care
  • Collaborate with medical providers, including physicians and therapists, to ensure holistic, coordinated patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in compliance with medical and legal guidelines
  • Stay informed on the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and tools
  • Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current Alaska state licensure or certification as a PTA
  • Strong grasp of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Demonstrated knowledge of trigger point therapy and pain management techniques
  • A passion for helping others and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with patients and colleagues
  • Previous experience in acute care or outpatient therapy settings preferred
  • Annual salary range of $60,000–$80,000 (based on experience)
