About The Position

This position is related to the CentraCare Plaza expansion that is opening Summer of 2026, apply today to discuss start time options! This 60,0000 square foot expansion will include a 24,000 square foot gym with various surfaces, overhead robotic trolleys, Neck and Back Program gym, Aquatic Center, and more! This position will focus on provision of PT Assistant care for patients with Musculo-skeletal/Sports-related conditions/injuries. Provides services to patients ranging from the adolescent to the elderly in order to prevent, assess, alleviate or correct physical disability, bodily dysfunction, or pain. Responsible for treating patients in an outpatient setting. Will work with patients using current technology, treatment techniques and modalities consistent with department and hospital policies and procedures. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant academic program and successful completion of required clinical training by the academic facility required. New or upcoming graduates welcome to apply!
  • Licensed through the MN Board of Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant required, or a current temporary permit required with a Physical Therapist Assistant license required within 90 days of exam.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card.
