Location Overview: This position is located at our University Crossing location, Joint Commission certified, three-story, 82,000 square-foot facility with 111 beds, serving patients with both short and long-term rehabilitation needs. Position Summary: Administers physical therapy treatments to patients working under the direction of and as an assistant to the Physical Therapist.
Requirements
- Current PTA license in state of Florida
- Current hands-on CPR/BLS Certification
- Experience preferred, will consider a new grad
- Knowledge of federal and state professional requirements
Responsibilities
- Functions under supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Deliver high quality patient care for multiple rehabilitation diagnoses
- Provide a positive patient experience through patient engagement and progressive treatment
- Effectively communicate both verbally and written
- Promote evidence based patient care
