About The Position
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a full-time opportunity in a private physical therapy office in Normandy Park, WA. This position is focused on supporting patient recovery through guided exercise, movement training, and consistent follow-through on treatment plans created by the Physical Therapist. It is a strong fit for someone who enjoys direct patient interaction, values a manageable caseload, and wants to work in a setting where time with each patient matters.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant
- Active Washington PTA license, or eligibility to obtain licensure in Washington
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to follow a Physical Therapist’s plan of care accurately
- Organized, professional, and comfortable working in a private outpatient setting
Responsibilities
- Carry out physical therapy treatments under the supervision of the Physical Therapist
- Lead patients through therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation activities
- Assist with mobility, balance, coordination, and strengthening tasks
- Monitor treatment responses and communicate updates to the supervising therapist
- Complete clear and timely patient documentation
- Help keep the clinic environment clean, efficient, and ready for patient care
- Offer professional support and guidance throughout each visit
