Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will assist in providing treatments that help patients improve mobility, regain strength, and enhance overall function.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Licensure: Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience: Prior experience in rehabilitation or clinical settings preferred.
  • Certifications: CPR certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Educate patients on proper techniques and assistive device usage.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to the Physical Therapist.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant records of therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Uphold ethical and professional standards in all interactions and treatment sessions.
